I have always had a good rapport with our younger generation. I have felt the frustrations in them on various topics of life. We as parents and as responsible citizens have to help and guide them in whatever little way we can. Because the future of mankind depends upon our younger generation. These young people do have the ability but they are not always provided with the best. They get confused to find solutions for their own problems. They cannot communicate freely with their parents. Even though we parents are knowledgeable we do not talk freely with our children. Young people mostly lack knowledge but not intelligence and determination.
# The main question is what does a person need to lead a successful life?
They need to understand that every stage of life has its own significance. They have to observe, test and accept life as it is. To ensure happiness one needs to compromise on many things in life At every step life teaches us something new. The best investment a person could do in life is to build oneself through knowledge and work. We should build a better world by guiding them and teaching them the values of life.
I would like to share a very personal point of view on this, in my young days when we were at the doorstep of choosing our career, we had very few options to choose from. Those days very few kids, opted for professional courses. They attended the entrance exams and out of that few got selected. The rest completed their degree or post graduation and got nominal jobs. For the past 10-15 years, everything has changed, the outset of life too has changed. Everyone is into the professional course. Kids are put under pressure by parents to join professional courses. some join willingly but a few have to against their wish. There are so many opportunities open to the children of the present generation. I would like to tell the kids to opt for a career they really desire. And would request the parents to encourage them and help them realize their dreams.
Nowadays there is a vast range of opportunities for each kid to develop their skills and excel in them. There are a lot of career guidance centers where children are being helped to tap their talents.
Children who love science subjects and who are not keen into the medical field can specialize in botany, zoology, microbiology, biochemistry, environmental science, genetics, bioinformatics etc.
Those who are interested in Economics can excel in financial marketing, HR, Journalism and they can become good entrepreneurs.
Those who are into Commerce can outshine as Company Secretary, Financial Analysts etc.
Those who are interested in IT have an opportunity to excel in MCA, Web Designing, Artificial Intelligence etc.
Mass Communication & Journalism have opportunities to excel in digital media, reporting, becoming an anchor, editor, radio jockey etc
Hotel Management helps to start food technology start-ups, restaurants etc.
Travel & Tourism
Civil Aviation-trains you to become an Air Hostess & Commercial pilot
Social Sector-Master Social work
Children who like to learn Law can become lawyers and get into corporate legal firms.
Public Sector you can join the defense, civil services, forest service, railways etc
Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Cyber Security
Engineering can excel in computer science, civil, electronics, aeronautical, chemical , nano tecnology, bio technology, etc
Architecture can help to excel in the art of interior designing
Event Management etc.
Opportunities are vast, so make the most of it and try to emerge successfully. You kids are the future citizens of our country. The future of the country depends on you. If the children do not develop in a proper way the country’s future will be ruined. So every individual in our society has a sacred duty towards the children.
Failures come to all in every walk of life. We are at some point of time or the other very raw. Humans are never perfect, perfection can never be completely attained because life is a process of improvement. I have always admired people who are spontaneous and creative. Every person has an ability in them which slowly surfaces even before they know it. One’s ability has to be polished and beautified only with the help of others opinions. The reason why this is important is that we have a completely different view of ourselves our strength and weakness. Your opinions and feedbacks are sure to help me and it will help me improve.
