“We don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our paths some time or the other…”
This year we have been going through a lot of pain, tensions, and health issues all around us. In our life we find people playing many roles. I have been wondering about the different shades of relationships we come across in our life. In our normal day to day life, we are busy with our hectic schedules that we don’t get to notice the little changes that keep happening in our lives. We tend to overlook a lot of small things as our hectic schedules keep us on our toes and we keep our minds busy. The lockdown has helped us slow down in our lives and we have all found time to reanalyze our lives.
As the saying goes..”In life, we realize that there is a purpose for every person you meet. Some come to test you, some use you, some will teach you and some bring out the best in you…”
There are different types of people that we come across in our lives. We don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our paths some time or the other. Everyone is born with a unique ability and quality that can be shared with the world. Everything happens for a reason.
Why do we meet people in our life? We find them playing many roles. They tend to influence our lives but we are responsible for ourselves to control our lives and actions. If we imagine our life as a huge tree with a lot of leaves, branches, and a few deep roots. We could compare our lives and the people who come into our lives. Some people play the role of leaves, some play the role of branches, and some play the role of roots. The majority play the role of leaves and branches. Each one of us might be rich in having a lot of leaves and branches in our lives. But how many of us are rich in having strong roots?
The leaves of a tree represent a certain category of people who come in our lives. They do not spend much time with us. They are like the seasons, they keep changing like the changing of seasons. They make an impact on us at the right time and leave. We need to be careful about such people.
The branches represent the next category of people. They are the most dangerous people we come across. They pretend to be our well-wishers but they are not. They stay a little bit longer because they are stronger than leaves. They stick on for many seasons but when you need them they leave. Even though they are very helpful they prefer to stick on for their advantages.
The next category is the most important of the lot. They are the roots and they are hard to find. They are the ones who are always ready to help and they would like to guide you and help you lead a strong healthy life. They teach us how important it is to be loved and to love. They are more like a backbone to us.
There are many reasons for people to come into our lives. Some come to educate you and help you grow in many ways. But when the time comes they leave. We should try to make the best of it and keep good memories of them. They either play a big or small part of our lives. Some make us cry, some hurt us and some betray us. We become stronger as they pass by. They teach us many valuable lessons that help us become wiser and stronger. We tend to get more exposed to life when we experience happiness and prosperity with people who come into our lives like seasons and fade away like seasons.
The most important people whom we come across in our lives are the ones who remain with us through our thick and thin for a lifetime. It’s with them we invest our lives, energy, and time and they are none other than our family, relations, and close friends.
It’s always very important to make the right and the wisest choice in choosing who plays which role in your life. One must be on guard and recognize who comes into your life and for how long.
So true…
Thank you.
???Very clinical observation. In scientific terms even roots can be classified into 2 categories – Tap roots, which go deep rooted holding the tree & finding resources to grow & the fiberous roots which lends temporary support. So there is still room to bisect relationships further.
Thank you. Yes, we can.
